oh, it would be nice if freenet.exe, that bunny thing, could check for java 1.4 if 
build >598, because otherwise most windoze users won't see the error message. same 
procedure there: check version, if not 1.4.x, spit 
some urls (maybe nice hyperlinks?) where to get it
