Could that diagnostic please be chosen in a way that it would not compromise anonymity? This way it could be reported globally (like we report load now).


We could report just the average and stdev of the differences over an interval, but it would be a lot more helpful if we also knew the number of measurements. If that is too intrusive, then how about reporting just
the average + stdev but not only for the current period; the values for last few periods could show us how the node is adapting.


Another diagnostic we could report globaly would be the average distance between the 
reference points and the percentile
of outliers.  This way we can (sort of) measure specialization without compromising 
privacy.
