Before we turn NGR loose in a release, perhaps it would be a good idea to do one little test, at least if it's not to hard.
I've heard NGR has been tested on single nodes and shown good results. Could we measure the results for queries passing throught the node with different HTLs independently. For example: HTL response percentage 15 90% 5 80% 3 25% 2 5% 1 2% If we could compare these results with those of the old code we might get a better idea if NGR helps overall or just one node. It might be possible that it helps the overall routing more than say close range routing where you might handle a lot of repeat requests. Just an idea, if it's too much work don't bother. The only real way to test the thing out would be the watchme network. I'd run a watchme node if you guys want, but it maybe a realistically unstable one. __________________________________________________________________ Gesendet von Yahoo!
