I have uploaded my attempt at providing better documentation for how Freenet works to the web forum. Please review it, and post any arias that need additions/clarifications/corrections there.
On an unrelated note: I also uploaded Ian Clark & co.'s "Freenet: A Distributed Anonymous Information Storage and Retrieval System" converted to a PDF.
