As has been previously discussed, this problem does not effect everyone, 
and often only effects the people whom it does intermittantly, coming and
going.  If you are not one of the people it effects, it is almost impossible
to reproduce it.  Life would be much easier if someone could come up with
a case where it was reproducable on a machine that is not theirs - mine isn't
doing it right now (tho it used to, I originally spoke of this problem months
ago, go read the archives or something) - it would help a lot.  But until
then, it's a lot like a blind man shooting into the air with a riflee on the
off chance he might hit someone - it is far more producitve to work on 
problems that you can *see* than ones you can't, and hence they get priotity.

Before you ask, no, I cannot come up with this test case, and I won't be
looking at this probelm anymore until it happens to my node again.
