Currently 3 out of 5 links on the gateway are dead, with one of them not 
having had an update for almost 6 months.  TFE hasn't been updated in 
almost a month as well.  Now, if CofE was not interested in maintaining 
his flog he would at least have the courtesy to inform the project.  He 
knows its still on the gateway page and by not updating it, but making 
sure that it stays available by reinserting the dbr he is nothing short 
of being rude.

Could the project create and maintain a freesite?  It would be a vanilla 
freesite with information about recent builds, freenet clients and 
perhaps some open-source news of general interest.  Since there are 
trust issues with providing builds for download it may be a better idea 
not to have those; despite that such site can still be rather useful.

And its a lot more rewarding for the first-time user to be able to reach 
3 out of 4 sites than 2 out of 5 :)
