I couldn't speak for other distros, but Gentoo's dependency-resolving 
infrastructure has no problem with installing Freenet, and the Sun JVM as 
well.  As well, Freenet works fine (so far) on Blackdown, and I don't 
believe Blackdown is non-packageable.
