*NIX's have /etc/hosts

Windows has:
%SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS

I would assume at least Mac OS X has /etc/hosts or similar considering
its roots.

What other OSes would need to get covered? Mac OS <= 9?

Ian, I think the problem people have with http://localhost:8888/ is that
it makes it problematic put Freenet hrefs on webpages, or to post URIs
to forums and such, since fproxy isnt necessarily running on localhost
or on port 8888.
