My node is getting rather low sentData ratios. Approximately half of the transfer failures seem to be caused by a connection dying. Possible solutions: * Set up a test network and try to reproduce the failures. It may be a corruption problem, in which case it should be possible to debug. However, the receivedData ratio is rather better (almost always over 0.5), so that suggests it is a per node issue, which NGRouting is working around. Anyway it's possible, and probably a good idea. If it's a straightforward bug, it can probably be reproduced locally. Also, reports from an ubernode suggest that it is less of a problem with more bandwidth... suggesting maybe it isn't a per node problem with connection overload after all. * Implement multiplexing. One likely cause is very busy nodes closing connections that have data being transferred on them. Multiplexing would eliminate this problem, drastically reduce connection churn, and solve world hunger. -- Matthew J Toseland - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Freenet Project Official Codemonkey - http://freenetproject.org/ ICTHUS - Nothing is impossible.
