It looks to me that the argument has largely goes along the line of "how can we make it impossible", so i've decided that it would be a better idea to outline the MoSCoW for that (of course all of it is IMHO).

In order to implement JS enabled only interface
Freenet MUST have
* A way to control *every* aspect of the node over FCP
* A way to download a whole website to disk with complete FProxy sanitisation
* A detailed explanation for every possible option in freenet.ini (at least as detailed as on config page)
* A way to load plug-ins (could be through FCP for example)

Freenet SHOULD have
* A way to plug in a third party interface


Freenet COULD have
* A fall-back mechanisms for as many pages as possible (for example a first 
page)
* A way to load up a freesite without JS
