One problem you may want to look at is digger3's code: Currently providing data for this is very inconvenient, and very hard if you're not a geek/unix sysadmin type. We need a plugin for running the test it is based on ( Currently users run a script daily (usually in a cron job), which runs src/freenet/node/simulator/LongTermManySingleBlocksTest, and upload the data to him somehow - usually by saving the file to a local web server. We need an easy way to collect this data. IMHO a plugin that runs it and then uploads the data would be really helpful. More people gathering data would allow us to measure the effect of a new build much more quickly and convincingly, although we are limited by the impact a new build always has due to nodes restarting etc.
