I like the second one, but both look a bit unprofessional (like something I’d do… :) ): the colors don’t fit together and the background seems a bit flat (but on white background the background could be better). Otherwise I like the idea: It’s a lot more obvious than the current one (because of the box metaphor and the rabbit: This is how you get freenet).
