Fabio is talking about hashcash: A challenge to find X such that H(X) = Y (for
the last N bits of both sides).

The problem is hashcash is very expensive for regular users (who may have slow
CPUs) and very cheap for attackers (who have fast GPUs). So it's not really a
usable solution.

Maybe as a component - but the puzzles would have to be very easy, we don't
want to delay users getting onto Freenet.
