I think the phone connecting to the home node via internet would be another useful case: - phone connects to home node via (mobile) internet and exchanges information. If you link them up via a QR code and have a crypto-connection anyway, then I think we could avoid the lag and uncertainty of only syncing when we’re home. For a UI on the phone: - friend ref added - friend ref transmitted to the node - friend connected All that could happen in the seconds after you exchanged noderefs via phone.
