I'm not sure that this a Liberator bug. I have found before that the buffer that you get on an file that is being tunneled is about 200k, after that you have to wait for it to be sent on (since tunneling isn't done through a FIFO file). So I would almost be more suspicious that their was a problem sending to the next node.
