How do you erase traces from the swap file? What about the Start menu's list of recently opened documents? If a browser can act as a client, what about its history list? Bookmarks? What about external applications such as image viewers which keep their own lists of recently opened files? There is only one way of ensuring traces will not be left behind: by not storing it in the first place. Anything else is simply a false sense of security.
