I have now committed Adam Langley's new Freenet website to the live site. Not everyone seems to realize that the website is actually maintained in CVS, in the "website" directory. My original aim in doing this was to encourage everyone to modify and improve the website, but so far very few people seem to take advantage of this. If you want to make *any* modifications or improvements you should first do a:
cvs co website (Assuming that your CVSROOT is configured in the normal way for accessing the code). Modify the files, and then commit them. It may take up to half an hour for your changes to go live on the site. Ideally if you have a web server on your machine capable of PHP you should check out the website under your ~/public_html directory so that you can test your changes before comitting them to the site. Accidentally breaking the website is a definite no-no. Ian. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
