The current version of EZFreeNet in circulation is only a beta. It?s the
result of about 3 hours work on a boring rainy day. However, due to the
popularity, I am planning on making improvements for a version 1.0. No
release date set yet. But it?ll probably be soon. Two modifications so
far: Batch downloads and a default download directory (keeps things
neater). The new version will still run off of the Java runtime. However,
it will not need to be installed within the same directory. It will need to
be configured to find the necessary Java files. And maybe an option for the
program to find the java runtime files on your computer by itself would be a
good idea. Again, code will be open source and all development will be done
by myself.. That way no one has to worry about anyone inserting ?evil code?.
