Well, I won't argue just for the sake of argument, I am fine with
limiting unrequests to reference entries, with the slight problem that
this brings the whole reference thing into the realm of the node, where
as previously it could have been just a client thing.  Having said that,
I have no problem with moving functionality to the node provided there
is a good reason.
