Why don't you just directly connect to nodes and bypass fproxy?
Besides then you can have control over the requesting HTL, something
fproxy doesn't give you. If you need a list of nodes to request from
I've got a list of about 700 nodes that I've collected while doing my
KSK replacement attack on test.jpg and test.html

If you want a good client to connect with I've found that the
testclient program in libfreenet works very well and is easy to hack
around with.
