Make sure there's plenty of informative feedback during the retrieval
process. I'm assuming that this installer is targetted at the "common
man," and the common man is going to want to know why it's taking five
minutes for all of the Freenet requests to come back. Try to distract him
with moving objects and bright colors, and assure him that he doesn't need
to sit and stare at the screen during the entire process (unless the
pretty things are _really_ good). What happens if the installer fails to
download one or more chunks of the program? You'll need to placate the
user with an explanation of Freenet's potential unreliability.

An excellent application, I love this idea.
