Ok, I think that this can be a good moment to repeat my
  ideas.

In fact we are not misrepresenting Freenet, but:

1) for techie or privacy- addicted people we are giving
a lot of (outdated, partial, disorganized) material
to dive in, give a form of representation.

2) for non-techie or normally motivated people we give
     *no representation at all*

In a previous thread this was explained to me with the current
state of the Project; this was the reason I decided to
translate the site and to start talking about Freenet
every time I find a good place to do that.

During several talk, I elaborate an Italian presentation
that start with no background ad goes half-technical in
50 slides, including some slide from Theodore presentation.

You find a non-final copy of the slides in wiki's links.

If such a document will exist in English and for 0.4, probably
will give the first "representation" of Freenet for
not-so-techie people .... and give a good start point
for discussing about Freenet, so avoiding (for example) the restart of
already discarded suggestion ad favoring some form of communication
between the Project and the rest of the world.

If wiil be possible to have information on the present state of Freenet
without diving in java code or choose between IRC and sleeping,
I can do most part of the job, providing some external sources of tech
  & english grammar proofreading.
