The gateway.html page in the new Windows snapshot links to GJ's nodestatus applet on port 8889, yet it is not enabled by default (and I can't see any options to enable it in the GUI configuration utility). We may want to fix this.
Also, as visitors to http://freenetproject.org/snapshots/ will have noticed, I have changed the scheme with which snapshots are named. Now it is freenet-YYYYMMDD.tgz for Linux, and freenet-YYYYMMDD.exe for Windows. This has the nice effect of sorting the snapshots by date when viewed in a web browser. Lastly, with the Win version, newbies may not realise that they need to double-click on the Hops task-tray icon to launch the gateway. Some form of informational note to this effect may be useful.
