I've just run a multiple-file request that created 246 files, only 13 of which have data; the remaining 233 have 0 bytes. I was requesting using KSKs and the zero-byte files appear to be created when the redirect file is retrieved. If the data file is not retrieved, the zero-byte file is left behind. Regardless of the cause, it would be helpful to have the program do a cleanup after a failed request. I'm running Win2K, so maybe it's a Windows problem.
It appears that a lot of files have fallen off Freenet. Obviously, I can't tell when a data file is available and the redirect file is not available; the file may be there but it's hard to find the CHKs. :) Fred _______________________________________________ Devl mailing list Devl at freenetproject.org http://www.uprizer.com/mailman/listinfo/devl
