Here's an FCP-generated keypair that *doesn't* work:

private: Gu-o7NntBuir6ZheF7GJCMZytuuLREcHZ-U6JaeegJM
public: YmThwa1o427rMUJb2QlIKQ6tfZc
note that insertclient munches this private key and comes up with a public
key of:
YmThwa1o427rMUJb2QlIKQ6tfZcQAgE
which is the same as the original pubkey with 'QAgE' at the end

Now here's an InsertClient-generated keypair that *does* work:

private: GgyIDK5iFet2GOn-mm7~AkRl2JHlfdzxr2e0
public: uDT8iApCWc33MlNClfiMlIRHZOkQAgE
