I just checked in a small change to Freenet.interfaces.LocalInterface that allows fproxy to be configured to accept connections from all addresses.
To get this behavior set: fproxy.bindAddress=* in your freenet.conf file and make sure fproxy.allowedHosts isn't set. This modification was made at the request of people who want to run HTTP gateways. The default behavior of fproxy is unchanged.
