Yeah it's pretty busted.  I think there are actually 3 different code 
paths that perform splitfile insertions between the client tools 
(get/put/putsite).  Tracking bugs in this situation has been a hopeless 
effort, and so some work has been done already to move redundant code 
out from get/put/putsite and into ezFCPlib so that it may be shared 
properly, and the added advantage of including it in the library 
ezFCPlib itself.

However I agree that for the time being, perhaps another simpler 
program can be recommended for freesite insertion until evolution takes 
it's course and gives us more options in the future.  I wasn't sure how 
others were using fcpputsite and to what extent it was working, but if 
the consensus is it needs a rewrite, then that's what will happen.

But I didn't want to be the typical programer; when the problem becomes 
a little too complicated to fix I'd throw my arms in the air and chant, 
"rewrite, rewrite!.  In this case however it's necessary.
