Yeah it's pretty busted. I think there are actually 3 different code paths that perform splitfile insertions between the client tools (get/put/putsite). Tracking bugs in this situation has been a hopeless effort, and so some work has been done already to move redundant code out from get/put/putsite and into ezFCPlib so that it may be shared properly, and the added advantage of including it in the library ezFCPlib itself. However I agree that for the time being, perhaps another simpler program can be recommended for freesite insertion until evolution takes it's course and gives us more options in the future. I wasn't sure how others were using fcpputsite and to what extent it was working, but if the consensus is it needs a rewrite, then that's what will happen. But I didn't want to be the typical programer; when the problem becomes a little too complicated to fix I'd throw my arms in the air and chant, "rewrite, rewrite!. In this case however it's necessary. - -- Jay Oliveri "In the land of the blind, GnuPG ID: 0x5AA5DD54 the one-eyed man is king." -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE9Zl8L5JyaE1ql3VQRAlH/AJwLHvbt2a7snxjNj1aN1EjXThY8wQCggcTy 7qDC5xtdcuRA2ZsFOM7BJOQ= =jEaz -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ devl mailing list devl at freenetproject.org http://hawk.freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/devl
