Sorry. I know what you mean about putting yourself in each of the users shoes.
While I don't think we should be bending over backwards for people who are too lazy to read, I don't think rewording things a little to be more clearer would hurt. When I first came across Freenet I certainly wouldn't of minded just a little something to explain to me the uses of Freenet. When the time comes I'll rewrite bits I think that need to be more clear and then get feedback from yourself and everyone else. I'm gathering your not a huge fan of sourceforge then. I would love to hear from some developers what tools they themselves find useful. There are a number of php based groupware tools that can be used instead. As for mirroring the website onto Freenet, this would be done by using wget. As long as you avoid active elements, most of what php outputs is just HTML. Unfortunately there will always be people who form their preconceptions and don't have any inclination to change them. You would be amazed how many people offer their opinions about Freenet to me without even visiting the website!
