Okay Kaffe sucks, despite Oscar's assurances I can't build a version of Kaffe that looks like it has a hope of building Freenet. Problems with using GNU gmp.
SUN jdk won't due to string literal mentioned before. IBM SDK gets furthest, but complains about javax class HttpServlet not existing, am I a library short. Am I missing the "How to build freenet from source" documentation, or some such?
