I know about Frost, but read what I wrote. This would allow people from the
outside to talk to people on the inside with all the security of Freenet.
It would allow Freenet people to have an email account that operates like a
Frost board. Currently the only way to do this is with a newnym server
(such as mine -- nym.alias.net) which is a pain in the ass to create, use,
and maintain. Freenet would be the perfect replacement for the clumsy
remailers. If this "system already in the works" is like this then I have
to plead ignorance (I've been away from Freenet while switching to Linux),
but it sounds like you're describing Text Over Freenet (TOF), which is
great and all (and is necessary for my proposal), but doesn't satisfy all
the stuff my system would.
