I am not sure what you mean here, can you clarify?

Just because people involved with Freenet think free software is a good
idea, does not make advocating other free software projects a goal of our
project.  What I disagreed with was that we should delay the 0.5 release
until the Kaffe team got their act together.

Of course the project can encourage the use of free software, but this
should not detract from our abilities to achieve our goals.
