Wow, thats terrible. Given that you sent the private key to the node, I
suspect there is a far more efficient algorithm than the one you're
suggesting.

P.S. YOU CAN EASILY DERIVE THE PUBLIC KEY FROM THE PRIVATE ONE,
NOT VICE VERSA. :)
