it was an experiment.  People told me that HTL=5 would work, and since
HTL=5 is (a) less bandwidth intensive, (b) faster, and (c) well, i don't
remmeber, but i had another reason, I thought I'd try it.  It wasn't
actully as bad as I expected.  

Anyhow, the sample file recommends 10.  it works much better.

p.s. I'm normally all for HTL overkill... hell, i still insert my
freesites at HTL=25 :-p
