what the subject says. FEC was broken in every case when using the new
FCP based FEC code
(specifically, the check block was never ever getting written - so the
files would download correctly if the original blocks were found,
however, if it had to use the checkblocks, the reconstruction would fail,
because the blocks were in fact a copy of the main blocks. additionally,
the final checkblock was never getting written. Ironically, no-one other
than GJ noticed ;). There is a lesson here about not blindly trusting
that code works, somewhere, but I'm sure that you can all work that out
for yourselves.)
