Last I heard, someone had horribly mangled the code in CVS for FreeWeb and
the original developer left in disgust...
Several months ago I tried to build the source from CVS and it was FUBAR'D

Someone please try this again, since I don't have the time right now...

Perhaps, but it seems to be somewhat stale - I don't think anyone has
worked on it in months.

I hear occasional stories that FCPTools drift in and out of stability.

We should definitely make this a high priority, particularly if Freeweb
isn't working so well these days.
