Trifling suggestion,
but perhaps the download page should link directly to the Java download
installer?
va/installer.html&fail=http://java.sun.com/getjava/others.html). It might
help with some of the Java installation questions for those XP'ers.

Also, Under
http://freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/twiki/view/Pub/QuestionsAndAnswers, Q2
(What build am I running) answers the question with a link to :8890 on
127.0.0.1, I'm guessing this should be :8888 because nothing is listening on
:8890 (at least on my system).

"What is freenet"'s history section could do with an entry about 0.5 seeing
as it's relatively momentous. I'm not sure if it's momentous that something
for 0.5 is working, or that at least in a perfect world you're 50% of the
way to Version 1.0, but even ICQ is still in beta, so who knows.

I assume the address for cheque donations is still valid? (lots of people
dislike paypal)

And it's 4:37am in England - only me, the cat & some poor guys who got the
night shift at McDonalds should be awake, so I assume you've moved to the US
from Scotland? :)

William.
