For NT it is CMD then IPCONFIG I was thinking along the lines of people with cablemodems with build-in NAT or people like me with a router between thier cablemodem and computer. But then we would need to remind them to forward the appropriate ports (assuming they can figure that out). Oh god, tech support for the clueless masses here we go... How about a window that pops up when they forget to change their IP address from localhost. Have that window provide a FAQ about setting up a permanent node, finding their IP and forwarding the appropriate ports??? Remember we want people to join and STAY on the network, right? =) Oskar, Matt- please don't shoot this down needlessly. =) _______________________________________________ devl mailing list devl at freenetproject.org http://hawk.freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/devl
