Bleah. My config file does indeed have a messageStoreSize of 50000. It also has a "%messageStoreSize=1000" line, which is a bit confusing... but anyway, it appears that the Windows installer comes with its own set defaults (see Contrib/wininstall/Sources/NodeConfig/ConfigFile.cpp), which are of course inconsistent with the defaults in the jar. Presumably anyone else who uses the windows installer has a messageStoreSize of 50000 as well as other issues... Is anyone maintaining the windows installer?
