Links is a sophisticated but lightweight text web browser for
practically anything Posix (not just Unix but also OS/2), which fully
supports frames and CSS and SSL. And then someone got the idea to
tack a graphics facility onto the text rendering engine and to also
tack on a working Javascript implementation (which can be disabled,
and always asks before doing stuff like opening new windows). It is
great as a graphical browser, even though it is very clear that it was
originally written as a textual terminal browser due to the way it
renders stuff like menus and buttons and dialog boxes.
