Hey everyone

Rather than just saying I'm going to do some work for the new website I
thought I'd actually do some work for a change.

I've been trying to rethink the 'What is Freenet?' section of the site.
In my opinion this is the most important part of the site as it is the
part that most people will read first. I've attached my attempt at
writing the section. Quite a few parts were borrowed from the existing
text that Ian wrote. I think the two most important things when
explaining what Freenet is should be to emphasise that it is for freedom
of speech and not another filesharing network. The other thing was to
make sure to point out that Freenet isn't just restricted to sharing
files with one another.

I don't think this section should be too technical, it is mainly to
spark a interest with the reader and to get across a very basic
understanding of what Freenet is. More detailed information should be in
the documentation and already exists in the papers we have for download.

I'd like some feedback on this. Everyone is welcome to edit this and
resubmit their suggestions. Please provide constructive criticism for
the while, spelling etc will be at a later stage. Thanks.

Simon
