I finally got a chance to look at fixing some of the NodeConfig issues. I've made the node address and port visible (read-only) but not editable from the Normal tab, but a checkbox on the Geek tab to make it editable. I've added another checkbox to the Geek tab to specify auto IP detection (in which case the Node Address on the Normal tab displays "AUTOMATIC") or manual. I've also disabled the ability to change between permanent and transient nodes. NodeConfig honours the existing settings but the GUI widgets to change node transitivity are disabled until such time as one of us determines that putting such settings back into NodeConfig would be worthwhile.
Snapshots folder contains latest NodeConfig.
