Despite the fact that I just doubted that ARK generation even works I just 
found this in my diagnostics:

successful connections
Aggregated over every hour . Recorded aggregates over day:

So, that's 2 (in words: two) successful ARK lookups that even lead to a 
successful connection. ARKs really seem to work. :)
