Is Coral Cache in general, and our Coral-ified download archive in particular (click "downloads" on the front page and try and get one of the installers) working for anyone? For me it's *insanely* slow and high latency right now, to the point where browsers and the wininstaller are guaranteed to time out before getting anything :( It's so bad it would be faster to distribute them on freenet 0.5, if not for the obvious chicken and egg problem ;)
I've verified this by trying various Coral links from my shell on sdf-eu, which despite the "eu" name is in Dallas. I get the same behaviour. It was working fine earlier today :/ This isn't an emu specific issue, the example http://www.coralcdn.org.nyud.net:8090/ link given on http://www.coralcdn.org/ took at least 5 minutes, probably longer, to load anything (and only managed to do so at all because I have very high browser timeouts for freenet.) Initially I couldn't even resolve it from my home connection, perhaps there's been some sort of weird DNS update that's broken the network? There's no mention of such a thing on any of coralcdn's list archives though. Bob
