Freenet 0.7 build 844 is now available. It should show up through the
auto-update system in half an hour or so. Please upgrade ASAP! This
build will become mandatory at midnight GMT. This build fixes a serious
and long standing maths bug in an averager class used widely in 0.7. One
result of this may have been the "high bwlimitDelay but low traffic" bug;
but it is likely that there were other similar bugs. This was an
averager whose sensitivity was specified as a time period ("half-life"),
a period after which only half of the influence of a report would remain.
However what we actually wanted is an averager which retains only half
of the old total value after that period, rather than one which reduces
the influence of each old report; the latter will still take an
increasingly long time to reverse.
