Some remarkable statistics: http://sourceforge.net/project/stats/detail.php?group_id=978&ugn=freenet&type=prweb&mode=12months
Over the last 12 months, we've never had less than 150k page hits in a month; this is 5000 page hits per day. Over the last month (roughly the period over which emu has handled downloads?), we've had an average of 304 downloads per day of the webinstaller or the unix tarfile (77 of which were the *nix tarball, the remaining 227 the wininstaller), with referrer set to the download page; so most of these will be new users. I am confident that if we can build something that works well, *on first installing it*, that is easy to use, and that scales, we can build a massive network very quickly. -- Matthew J Toseland - toad at amphibian.dyndns.org Freenet Project Official Codemonkey - http://freenetproject.org/ ICTHUS - Nothing is impossible.
