There are fraudsters out there who set up sites which look exactly like
some legitimate site. If you try to log on, they grab your credentials
and perform actions on the legitimate site in your name (such as
transferring money from your bank account to . These people use domain
names which look very similar or, with some fonts, even equal to the
domain names of the legitimate sites. If a safebrowsing provider is
activated, it receives every URL you type in and tells your browser
whether the site is dangerous. The browser may then show a warning
message.
