I was more thinking in the lines of people returning to the network after having it disabled for a while, support for older install packages/offline installers and support for more conservative people that don't want stuff automatically installed onto their machines the whole time. I'm not saying we should hold back development because to do that(!), but if it doesn't hurt anything, I don't think it would be a bad idea to support UOM for up to 12 months old nodes. Support period for all features should ideally be at least 2-3 months (which might be more or less impossible right now though), but node self-update really should be longer. - Zero3
