For some time, I've been advocating for increased use of the wiki. However, the current wiki has a variety of problems. We should move to Mediawiki (or possibly something else, if there is a compelling reason).
Unfortunately, it seems I'm the only one who cares about the wiki. Every time it comes up, the discussion seems to arrive at "yes, we really should decide on something and do it" and then die. The current wiki has a mild spam problem. I seem to be the only one left trying to do anything about it. (Among the issues with the current wiki is that this is more work than it should be.) I'm happy to continue to do this, if it's a temporary thing while work is being done on setting up a new wiki. However, at this point that seems a rather forlorn hope. Until that changes, I don't see much point in maintaining the current wiki, trying to improve it, or referring people to it for documentation. Evan Daniel
