Hi again Regarding this specific bug, I believe it is related to the custom "freenet" user account we create on Windows installations to run our background service. We are currently moving away from this method of running our service (and towards using the standard Windows user accounts instead), and this move will hopefully resolve your issue. It would be a great help if you could test the latest beta version of the Windows installer which includes this change. The source is available in our git repository, but I figure out probably prefer a compiled version, so I've put one online at: http://privat.zero3.dk/FreenetInstaller_Beta.exe Note that this version of the installer contains an outdated version of Freenet itself, a work-in-progress Tray manager and other changes. It is only meant to test the actual installation procedure. I recommend that you uninstall it again after testing if the installation works. Thanks for your help! - Zero3
