A quick workaround would be to put a pause in if the user is using the new install method. They could be asked to shutdown manually and press a key. Just include the script and helper programs so in the future an updated script can be downloaded. I got stuck with the shutdown command. I don't know how to call taskkill and feed it the correct PID.
